Bapi Chakraborty

Bapi Chakraborty is a founding member of Aroneu and its Head of Talent & Agile Delivery. He leads who joins Aroneu, how they are brought on board, and how its teams plan and deliver their work.

He grew up in a village a few kilometres from Dhanbad, in Jharkhand. He is drawn to physics and mathematics, and years of preparing for India's civil services examination gave him the structured thinking and clear judgement he brings to every hiring decision.

He has built engineering teams for many years, including Valtech Mobility's India team with Mary Monika Tiruchunapally, and he understands the technology those teams build. Where a standard tool slows the work, he builds his own with Cursor and Claude, and the faster processes that come out of it serve the whole company. At Aroneu he hired the founding team of more than 25 people and runs Scrum for three of its teams.
