Data Residency

This page explains where personal data collected through the Aroneu website is processed, and the safeguards that apply.

1. Primary processing in the EEA

Aroneu is operated from Germany. Personal data collected through this website is processed primarily within the European Economic Area, in line with the GDPR.

Every supporting service we use keeps this website’s data within Europe:

• Website hosting and form email — Aroneu’s own infrastructure within the EEA, rather than a third-party host or email provider.
• Cal.eu, the European instance of Cal.com — booking and scheduling, stored and processed within the European Union, used only when you book a call.
• Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) — website analytics, hosted within the European Union; cookieless, collects no personal data, and loaded only if you accept the “Audience measurement” category.
• Layout and usability measurement — no provider at all. Click and scroll records are written to the same infrastructure that serves this website, are anonymous by design, and are deleted after 90 days. Recorded only if you accept the “Layout and usability” category.

2. Access from outside the EEA

Every provider we use by default is based within the European Economic Area. Authorised Aroneu personnel in India may access limited data where needed for business communication, support, or recruitment.

There is one provider outside the EEA, and it is only ever reached with your consent: Vimeo.com, Inc. (United States), which hosts some of the video players on our Academy and article pages. Nothing is requested from Vimeo — and your IP address is therefore never disclosed to them — unless you accept the “Video embeds” category or choose to load a particular video. YouTube players are served by Google Ireland Limited, within the EEA, though Google may transfer onward under its own terms.

If you decline video embeds, no data leaves the European Economic Area through this website at all.

3. Safeguards

Where personal data is processed or accessed outside the European Economic Area, Aroneu uses appropriate safeguards where required. These may include:

• Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms,
• contractual data-protection obligations with providers,
• access controls and role-based permissions,
• technical and organisational measures such as encrypted transmission.

This does not mean that all data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. It means that certain providers or authorised people may process or access limited data where needed for website operations, business communication, support, or recruitment.

4. Your rights

Your rights under applicable data protection law — including access, correction, deletion, and objection — are described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Changes to this page

We may update this page when providers, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published here.
