Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Aroneu uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and security tokens. They can help a website work properly, remember preferences, keep forms secure, and measure how the site is used.
This website sets no cookies at all — no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no analytics cookies. That is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
The only information we store on your device is what the website needs to work as you asked it to. It is used without consent because the website cannot operate properly without it:
- technologies that deliver pages and keep the site secure,
- storage of display preferences, such as the light or dark theme, kept in your browser’s local storage,
- form protection and spam prevention (hidden form fields and request rate limiting on our own infrastructure).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Analytics technologies
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that is cookieless by design. It sets no cookies, stores and reads nothing on your device, does not track you across websites or over time, and does not collect personal data. It records only aggregate counts — page views, referrers, country, device type — from which you cannot be identified.
Plausible is operated by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) and the data for this website is hosted within the European Union. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, there is no cookie consent to give or withdraw.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how this website is used, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No consent under Section 25 TTDSG is required, as no information is stored on or accessed from your device.
4. Third-party services
One website function relies on a third-party service that may set its own cookies when you use it:
- Cal.eu (the European instance of Cal.com) — when you book a call, the booking happens on their own site, under their cookie and privacy terms.
The contact and careers forms are handled on Aroneu’s own infrastructure and do not rely on third-party form cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details on the providers we use.
5. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. As this website sets no optional cookies, there are no consent choices for you to manage here. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect how the website works.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the website, technology stack, or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
